Trump admin releases highly anticipated files documenting UFOs, ‘extraterrestrial life’

FIRST ON FOX — The Trump administration on Friday released a batch of «never-before-seen» files and videos on Unidentified Anomalous Phenomenon (UAP) as part of an effort to increase transparency on government knowledge of extraterrestrial phenomenon.
«The latest UAP videos, photos, and original source documents from across the entire United States government are all in one place – no clearance required. While past administrations sought to discredit or dissuade the American people, President Trump is focused on providing maximum transparency to the public, who can ultimately make up their own minds about the information contained in these files,» the White House said in a statement to Fox News.
The release is a function of President Donald Trump’s Presidential Unsealing and Reporting System for UAP Encounters (PURSUE) program.
Photos from the initial disclosure, which a White House official told Fox News is the first of a series of releases, show strangely shaped objects captured on film during the Apollo 12 and Apollo 17 space missions.
One photo taken from the surface of the moon appears to show a cluster of three tiny dots in the sky.

A transcript of communications between Apollo 17 operators released in the disclosure Friday details the operators’ exchange over the unknown phenomenon.
«Now we’ve got a few very bright particles or fragments or something that go drifting by as we maneuver,» an operator told the command center.
«Roger. Understand,» the center replied.

«There’s a whole bunch of big ones on my window down there – just bright. It looks like the Fourth of July out of Ron’s window,» another operator added.
«Yes. Now you can see some of them in shape. They’re very jagged, angular fragments that are tumbling,» the first operator said.
Another pair of photos from the release come from the FBI and contain images from New Year’s Eve 1999 showing other UAPs in the same image as U.S. aircraft.

In February, after former President Barack Obama told a podcaster that aliens were real, Fox News senior White House correspondent Peter Doocy asked Trump directly about the existence of aliens.
«He gave classified information. He’s not supposed to be doing that,» Trump said of Obama. «I don’t know if they’re real or not. I can tell you, he gave classified information. He’s not supposed to be doing that – he made a big mistake. He took it out of classified information.»
Days later, Trump announced in a Truth Social post that he would be declassifying files related to the subject.

GOD BLESS AMERICA!» he wrote.
Numerous agency heads commented on the release, calling it an unprecedented step in transparency.
«The Department of War is in lockstep with President Trump to bring unprecedented transparency regarding our government’s understanding of Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena,» Secretary of War Pete Hegseth said.

NASA Administrator Jared Isaacman also weighed in. «I applaud President Trump’s whole-of-government effort to bring greater transparency to the American people on unidentified anomalous phenomena,» Isaacman said.

President Donald Trump on Friday warned Iran that the United States would «decimate and destroy» the country if Tehran carried out an assassination attempt against him.
«1000 Missiles are Locked and Loaded and aimed at the Islamic Republic of Iran, with thousands of more to immediately follow, should the Iranian Government act on its threat, pronounced in many corners of the Globe, to assassinate, or attempt to assassinate, the sitting President of the United States of America, in this case, ME!» Trump wrote on Truth Social.
The president said he had already directed the U.S. military to be prepared to retaliate if Iran carried out an assassination attempt against him.

Trump’s comments came one day after The Wall Street Journal reported that Israeli intelligence recently shared information with U.S. officials indicating Iran was considering a new plot to assassinate the president.
Earlier this week, Trump told reporters at the NATO summit in Ankara, Turkey, that he remains Iran’s top target.

«I’m No. 1 on the kill list for Iran,» the president said.
Earlier Friday, Trump also told the New York Post he had left standing instructions to strike Iran if an assassination attempt against him succeeded.
«I’ve been on their list for a long time. That’s what we’re dealing with,» Trump said. «… The only thing is, I’ve left instructions — if anything happens, to just literally bomb them at levels that they’ve never seen before.»

Trump also dismissed reports that Israeli intelligence had uncovered a new Iranian assassination plot against him.
«No, no, Israel came up with nothing,» Trump told the newspaper. «I’ve been No. 1 [on Iran’s kill list] for a long time, and it’s the way life is, you know.»
The New York Times reported that following Trump’s trip to Turkey, the U.S. Secret Service recommended he travel aboard the older Air Force One rather than the newly retrofitted Boeing 747 donated by Qatar as a security precaution amid renewed hostilities with Iran.
The White House has not said whether the aircraft change was related to specific security concerns, but said the new Air Force One is equipped with advanced security features.
«The new Air Force One is a state-of-the-art aircraft that has been fitted with high-level security protocols that ensure the safety of the President and his staff,» White House Communications Director Steven Cheung previously told Fox News Digital. «As the President has said recently, there are many enemies of America who have their sights on him, and we use every tool at our disposal to address those threats.»
Iran has sought Trump’s assassination since he ordered the 2020 military strike that killed Iranian Gen. Qasem Soleimani.
This week, mourners repeatedly called for Trump’s death during the funeral for Iran’s former supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

The comments also come as a U.S.-Iran ceasefire has unraveled in recent days.
Iran attacked commercial shipping in the Strait of Hormuz this week, prompting renewed U.S. military action, including a new round of strikes targeting Iranian military infrastructure tied to maritime operations and other military sites.
Trump has since declared the ceasefire «over» and warned of further action if Iran continues its attacks.

La oposición en Cuba advierte sobre los riesgo de un nuevo estallido social a cinco años del 11J
Cinco años después del histórico estallido social del 11 de julio de 2021 (11J), Cuba vive protestas a diario que confirman que el pacto social se ha roto, lo que podría desencadenar sucesos similares pese a la creciente represión, coinciden en señalar disidentes cubanos en diálogo con la agencia EFE.
Cuba atraviesa una profunda crisis desde hace seis años, con carestía de bienes básicos, apagones constantes, inflación desatada, dolarización parcial y un derrumbe de los servicios básicos. La presión de Washignton en el último medio año ha agravado aún más la situación.
Los apagones -de varios días de duración en amplias zonas del país- son uno de los principales detonantes del creciente descontento social, que se evidencia en las protestas -focalizadas y pacíficas- principalmente en La Habana; aunque también han sido significativas las manifestaciones en la provincia de Santiago de Cuba (oriente) y la ocurrida el pasado marzo en Morón, Ciego de Ávila (centro).
La opositora cubana, Marthadela Tamayo, reconoce que desde el 11J no se ha visto una manifestación similar, “en el sentido que fue masiva”, pero señala que “las protestas, los toques de cazuelas son tanto en horarios de día y de noche”, lo que la mantiene convencida de que la isla pudiera vivir otro 11J, pues “el aire que se respira es de protesta”.
“Es como si de manera diaria vivieras en un 11J, claro que con esa diferencia que todos sabemos de la masividad. Pero si lo creo, porque las condiciones actuales llevan a ello”, recalca.
Coincide con Tamayo, el opositor Manuel Cuesta Morúa, quien insiste en que “la profundización estructural de las carencias y de las desigualdades pueden producir un evento parecido al del 11J”, que finalizó con más de 1.400 detenidos, según denunciaron entidades de derechos humanos.
Para Cuesta Morúa, las protestas que se viven en la isla, consolidan cinco años después del 11J una “reconfiguración del tipo nuevo de relación entre la sociedad y el Estado cubanos: ruptura del contrato histórico entre pueblo y Gobierno revolucionarios, divorcio de los ciudadanos con las instituciones del Estado, explosión de las demandas frente a éste y normalización de la protesta”.
Ambos opositores concuerdan en que, si bien se reportan más protestas, se disuelven más rápido y no alcanzan mayor transcendencia debido a una marcada “vigilancia hacia la ciudadanía para que no realicen”, en palabras de Tamayo. Actualmente se está registrando una “durísima represión ejemplarizante del Gobierno frente a la protesta ciudadana”, agrega Cuesta Morúa.
En este sentido, Tamayo habla de “regulaciones y restricciones de movimiento a los activistas de derechos humanos” en la isla, así como “restricción de movimiento o regulación migratoria”, para “realizar actividad de articulación ciudadana”.
Por su parte, la ONG Prisoners Defenders (PD) en un informe sobre el significado de las protestas sociales del 11J señala que en los últimos años “las autoridades han perfeccionado las herramientas de identificación, vigilancia y castigo de la disidencia”.
Se trata, prosigue, de herramientas que combinan “vigilancia digital, persecución de organizaciones independientes, utilización de figuras penales ambiguas y despliegues represivos coordinados permite responder con mayor rapidez y eficacia a cualquier expresión de protesta o crítica pública”.
Al respecto, el Observatorio Cubano de Derechos Humanos (OCDH) denunció “al menos 1.949 acciones represivas” cometidas por “el régimen de Cuba” durante el primer semestre de 2026.
“A punto de cumplirse cinco años de las masivas protestas del 11 de julio en Cuba, denunciamos la grave situación represiva en el país y en especial el ensañamiento contra los presos políticos: los están matando lentamente”, subrayó el OCDH.
La misma postura sostiene Cuesta Morúa, quien fue recientemente detenido y, según denunció el Consejo para la Transición Democrática en Cuba (CTDC), sufrió “maltrato físico y amenazas”. A su juicio, el Gobierno cubano “endurece su respuesta llevando a prisión e imponiendo duras sanciones a algunos de quienes protestan, a modo de mensaje sobre su determinación de encarecer el descontento manifiesto de los ciudadanos”.
“Esto tiene un efecto disuasorio”, señala y añade otros dos factores que dificultan una mayor articulación de la protesta en la isla: “la ausencia clara de espacio público” y “el diseño preciso para cortar (por parte del Gobierno) cualquier vínculo entre el liderazgo cívico y la ciudadanía”.
Cuesta Morúa señala que el 11J ha logrado “de algún modo”, aunque “sin lograr la satisfacción” de las necesidades ciudadanas, que los cubanos se hayan “empoderado” y se haya “destruido la narrativa del Gobierno”. “Éste manda -no gobierna- con escasa legitimidad”, afirma.

Donald Trump habló del plan de Irán para asesinarlo: «Si me matan, dejé instrucciones: bombardearlos con una potencia sin precedentes»
Donald Trump sabe que hay un plan de Irán para matarlo y ya dejó instrucciones por si algo le pasa. El presidente de Estados Unidos reveló hoy que ya ordenó responder con una ofensiva militar sin precedentes si Irán llegara a concretar un supuesto plan para asesinarlo, al tiempo que confirmó que el alto el fuego con Teherán «terminó», aunque las negociaciones entre ambos países siguen abiertas.
«Si llegara a pasar algo [por su asesinato], dejé instrucciones: deberían bombardearlos con una potencia nunca vista«, declaró Trump en una entrevista con el New York Post. Lo hizo al revelar que dejó directivas precisas sobre cómo debería reaccionar Estados Unidos ante un eventual atentado exitoso en su contra.
Su declaración llega después de que Israel transmitiera a Washington información de sus servicios de inteligencia según la cual Irán estaría preparando un nuevo plan para asesinar a Donald Trump. El dato fue publicado en las últimas horas por The Wall Street Journal y CNN, citando fuentes anónimas y sin dar más detalles.
Según una fuente citada por CNN, la alerta llegó esta semana a conocimiento de las autoridades estadounidenses. Hay cierto escepticismo entre los servicios de inteligencia norteamericanos y algunos consideran que es un rumor más, sin asidero, que utiliza Israel para poder influir sobre el curso de la guerra en Medio Oriente.
Las amenazas serían más que nada un deseo repetido por algunos sectores más extremistas del régimen de Teherán, más que un plan específico y detallado para llevar a cabo el magnicidio.
Ahmad Vahidi, nuevo comandante del Cuerpo de la Guardia Revolucionaria Islámica de Irán (CGRI), es de acuerdo a la CNN, parte del grupo que impulsa matar a Trump. Ahmad Vahidif aparece en listas de «obstruccionistas» dentro del régimen y es uno de los apuntados por la administración Trump de boicotear las negociaciones con EE.UU.
Consultado sobre advertencias de inteligencia israelí acerca de un presunto complot iraní para asesinarlo, el mandatario respondió que Teherán lo considera «el objetivo número uno desde hace mucho tiempo».
«No, no. Israel no descubrió nada. Soy el número uno», afirmó, al recordar que las amenazas en su contra se remontan al ataque estadounidense que en 2020 mató al general iraní Qasem Soleimani. «Si llegara a suceder, dejé instrucciones: bombardearlos con una potencia sin precedentes. Espero que me extrañen», soltó irónico.
En la cumbre de la OTAN, en la ciudad turca de Ankara, Trump también habló del tema. «Quieren eliminar al líder estadounidense, es decir, a mí”, dijo. “Estoy en todas las listas. Esta mañana vi que estoy en todas y cada una de ellas. Y hasta ahora, supongo que he tenido algo de suerte, pero quizás eso no dure mucho”.
En paralelo, Trump anunció en Truth Social que Estados Unidos aceptó continuar las conversaciones solicitadas por Irán, pero dejó en claro que la tregua alcanzada en junio ya no está vigente.
«La República Islámica de Irán nos pidió continuar las conversaciones. Aceptamos hacerlo, pero Estados Unidos les dejó absolutamente claro que el alto el fuego TERMINÓ«, escribió el presidente.
El mandatario ya había anticipado durante la cumbre de la OTAN en Ankara que consideraba finalizada la tregua establecida tras los ataques estadounidenses contra objetivos iraníes y la posterior negociación de un memorando destinado a alcanzar un acuerdo definitivo en un plazo de 60 días.
El cese de hostilidades comenzó a desmoronarse esta semana después de que Washington acusara a Irán de atacar buques mercantes en el estrecho de Ormuz y lanzara nuevos bombardeos contra instalaciones militares iraníes.
Teherán respondió con ataques mediante misiles y drones contra posiciones estadounidenses en Bahréin y Kuwait, mientras ambas partes mantienen abiertos los canales diplomáticos pese a la renovada escalada militar.
Según reportes publicados hoy, la advertencia de inteligencia israelí sobre un nuevo presunto complot iraní para asesinar a Trump llevó a la Casa Blanca y al Servicio Secreto a reforzar las medidas de seguridad alrededor del presidente.
Entre las acciones adoptadas figura el cambio de último momento del avión presidencial utilizado para el regreso de Trump desde Turquía, una maniobra que la Casa Blanca definió como una táctica de «distracción y desorientación» («distraction and misdirection») para dificultar cualquier amenaza contra el mandatario.
Además, la administración evalúa reforzar de manera permanente la seguridad del complejo de la Casa Blanca mediante la instalación de nuevas vallas en sectores de Pennsylvania Avenue, lo que permitiría al Servicio Secreto restringir con mayor facilidad el acceso de peatones cuando existan amenazas.
